This is where it’s all happening!
We have just planted the strip where pigs have been with a new mixed crop which includes a few Black eyed peas – exciting for us as we haven’t grown this before. The mixture has peas, barley, wheat, buckwheat,oil radish, forage rape, mustard and sorghum! Most of the adults have moved off this field and their progeny will occupy their paddocks this summer.
The maternity section is here. We have new litters born every week. The weaned pigs will be in their family groups here, growing on.
Please walk quietly and keep dogs on short leads. There are some deep soils here and it’s been tough on everyone this winter.
Harry is probably in here, bedding up or fencing some new paddocks…
