The main growing herd is in here.
We have re-planted the strips where pigs have been with a new mixed crop which includes a few Black eyed peas – exciting for us as we haven’t grown this before. The mixture has peas, barley, wheat, buckwheat,oil radish, forage rape, mustard and sorghum and the young pigs are enjoying grazing this now.
The adults have moved off this field and their progeny will occupy their paddocks this winter. The weaned pigs will be in their family groups here, growing on.
