We have re-planted the strips where pigs have been with a new mixed crop which includes a few Black eyed peas – exciting for us as we haven’t grown this before. The mixture has peas, barley, wheat, buckwheat,oil radish, forage rape, mustard and sorghum! Most of the adults have moved off this field and their progeny will occupy their paddocks this summer. The weaned pigs will be in their family groups here, growing on.
