The last pigs have moved off and the muck spreaders have been, one of the very few jobs we contract out. It has been ploughed before drilling with next years feed for the pigs, a Barley and Pea mix – the main component.
This was the last field to be planted this spring – you can see the barley plants already and the peas are just starting to push through – we are hoping for some rain!
